Sr.Spotfire Administrator

Job Description:

Position Overview: The Senior Spotfire Administrator will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the TIBCO Spotfire environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Spotfire administration, possess excellent communication skills, and have a working knowledge of SQL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain the TIBCO Spotfire environment, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Configure and manage Spotfire servers, including installation, upgrades, and patches.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance system efficiency.
• Collaborate with business users to understand their requirements and provide Spotfire solutions that meet their needs.
• Develop and enforce best practices for Spotfire usage, including data security, user access, and system maintenance.
• Create and maintain documentation related to Spotfire administration, including system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of Spotfire.
• Work closely with IT and other departments to integrate Spotfire with other systems and data sources.
• Stay updated with the latest Spotfire features and industry trends to continuously improve the Spotfire environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Spotfire administration.
• Strong understanding of Spotfire architecture, components, and functionalities.
• Proficient in configuring and managing Spotfire servers and environments.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other BI tools and data visualization platforms.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, R, Batch or PowerShell.
