Job Switch advice

I am a Software Engineer - QA with 3.3 years of experience in software testing and automation, specialising in Playwright, Python, and API automation. Currently, I earn 7.7 LPA and am considering a job switch. I would appreciate suggestions on a reasonable salary hike I can ask for.

Dude, don't sell yourself short! You've got 3.3 years, solid automation skills, and you know Python. you should be aiming for a 30-40% jump, minimum.

Focus on a 15-20% hike, that's a reasonable jump

You can get 11 or 12lpa easily. Ask for 12. May be they will give atleast 11

It seems like you haven't done much research into the market salary rates for your role. Simply asking for a 20-30% hike without considering the company's budget or the industry’s average could be risky. You should have more data to back up your request.

Go for 20-30% hike, but don’t act like you’re asking for a discount on pizza 😂

Aim for a 20 to 30% salary hike based on your expertise in Playwright, Python, and API automation. Research market rates to support your request.
