Okay random thought – does being loyal to one company even make sense anymore?

Like… I’ve seen people give their heart and soul for 8–10 years, skip vacations, say yes to everything, be the “go-to” person… and then boom, one restructuring email and they’re out. No second thoughts.

Meanwhile, folks who switch jobs every 1.5–2 years are out here doubling salaries, getting better titles, and working less.

Not saying loyalty is dead, but honestly... is it kind of overrated now?

Would love to know what others think. Is job-hopping the smart move in 2025? Or is there still some hidden value in sticking it out long-term?

My current in-hand is 80k/m (9.5 LPA) in a product based company. Got an offer of 15 LPA (13.5 LPA fixed) from Wipro in Bengaluru. However, I currently stay at home and the office is very close. so everything is saved. What should I do? Should I negotiate with wipro for a higher salary (how much) or should I ask for a hike at my current organisation or should I keep on looking for other opportunities? Info: role is ML engineer 3 YOE in current organisation. The total YOE is 6 years.

Hello guys,

I am a Data Engineer with 3 yoe.
Current CTC - 14 LPA
10.8 - Fixed
1.2 - Variable
2 - Retention bonus (Till October)

I have been looking for a better opportunity and I recently got an offer from a company with the CTC of 16LPA - 15 +1 variable. 
If I leave my current company I will have to pay 2 lakh back which I dont have honestly and the other company is not willing to pay for it. They agreed to buy out my notice period though. 
I also know that my current company won’t be able to match this CTC.

Also, I want to know is this offer worth going for?

Since January, I have got like 40+ calls but as soon as they listen to my notice period they hang up. I gave interviews for 10 companies got 1 offer, got rejected by 3 and got ghosted by 6 after the interview process.
Now, I really want to make a switch and get an offer within a range of 18-20 LPA. I have good problem solving skills and communication though. Can I get this much hike based on my yoe?

Hi All, I have 14 years of experience in IT field, I got a contract role in Infosys, I thought they will convert me into permanent and I joined Infosys as a Contractor. Now they have released me from the project stating the work is completed, I given interviews in infosys they have selected but not informed me anything, I am keep on doing follow up, Recruter going like tortoise and giving me hope that they will release me offer letter, but after 1 month 7 days they confirmed they will not onboard me, I had 200% hope that they will select me but nothing was moved forward, now my mind is empty please help me how to overcome this sutivation. Giving interviews is very big pain, they will ask lot of questions but lastly says no luck.
