Everything.. Management pressure, negative motivations, no freedom of speech, no job security, team is not given equal responsibility, atleast 12 Hours work everyday, Even week offs are not entertained to managers, i was asked to resign for taking leave for my child birth. Whatever happens at store, the store team is not questioned,only manager is penalised, this gives more freedom to staffs and leads to pilferage. Manager is doing a job of security guarding the stock. No salary hike irrespective of how good our performance is, above store leaders wont even consider the wellness of store managers. Perfect example of how not to run a management, clear picture of how not to treat your staffs. My HR informed me that anyone from govt or top management asks we need to say evryone here is working for only 9 hours per day. Pathetic execution....Read More

The company culture has become increasingly toxic. Many employees, myself included, feel a sense of suffocation the moment we step into the workplace. It's disheartening to see how staff members earning as little as ₹14,000 per month are asked to resign without any prior notice. In some cases, employees with over 35 years of dedicated service have been forced out simply for declining a transfer. Shockingly, some are even reassigned to different states or departments without consent — a clear violation of labor compliance standards. Bata once had a legacy of respect and professionalism, but that seems to be fading. If you're someone who prefers to comply blindly or flatter those in power, you might survive. Otherwise, you're left with no choice but to silently hit your targets and endure the pressure. People are leaving frequently. Even my former HR colleague chose to join a challenging insurance company over staying here — not because it was easier, but because it was less toxic. That says a lot. Some people's working as per the company standard helping others to grow and some staff also promoting to store manager.

They are forcing SM and SP to work for 12 hours and more, and sometime they are forcing to work without weekoff , Bata management sending store manager get school order in school season, they are manipulating with Staff check in and check out data also, they terminating senior employee without any information or notice .job security is very poor in Bata, if any one raise the voice they will Target that guys and terminate from the company...Read More
