This feels like a school. You are expected to call your manager “sir” in many teams. They hire “trainees” from college without paying a single penny and make them work like their life depends on it under the pretext of offering them a full-time role. I came here looking at how highly this company’s rated for the culture, and I regret it. It feels so backward compared to other companies. Also, if you are being paid more than usual for a role here, prepare to lose your sanity. Some teams hire junior folks to back fill higher-level roles.
