The best thing about Eaton is, there is no Politics in your appraisal. Everything is transparent and if you compare Eaton with its competitors, in terms of Compensation, you will find Eaton at its best. Next point is Work life balance, you will find at its best.

Dislikes

Eaton is not a Technology oriented company, so you might need to work on a technology which is not a latest.

I am working in Cyber Security team and as Job's requirement, we need to be on top of the understanding about technology and how it has been implemented. If I need any help from higher management then we just to need to ask for it.

Global Policy of Eaton for Work Life balance is very good. Local management has no role in it and hence employees get good chance to manage work-life.

Dislikes

If you wish to get good opportunities in Eaton, you have to be pet of your manager. Pay hike and promotions are manager dependent and if you are not pet, you cannot get anything. even HR cannot help you. Usually trainings you get in Eaton are as per management policy and not per your interest. Learning after first few days is just for namesake. As Eaton has grown fully in India, bureaucracy is at the top. Politics is at peak and every manager is trying to save himself....Read More

India Management seriously needs improvement, they have no critical decision making powers. Not much scope for growth for IT employees. Most ethical, strong career building for every individual, good salary. I was working here for 2 years and 3 months. My experience was best. I left job because of my further education purpose.

They don't welcome you at gate daily. I am kidding. Actually nothing.

My job was in Electrical domain though I am mechanical engineer. It's all related to design of enclosure and stuff of loadcenteres. I was working on solid works, inventor, AutoCAD, Creo. I was working for Lincoln site held in USA. It's all based on UL67.

Experience of working with counterparts from Lincoln was great and lot learnings.
