Dear Anonymous, We would like to start by thanking you for your contributions at HSC. For the benefit of the readers of this review we would also like them to know that there could be multiple reviews from the same author which are similar in tone & language. While we believe that the author would not misuse this platform to post multiple reviews using different credentials, the same cannot be denied as well owing to the similarity. Through the author, we would like the readers of the review to know that HSC has been appraised with CMMI level – 5 certification for the three domains of Development, Services and People and is also the first organisation in the world to be appraised so. Such certifications are awarded after rigorous audits, checks and ensuring that the organisation is adhering to the policies and procedures. By extension of that, all our interactions, processes and even communications are guided by the laid down policies & procedures. Hence, when you claim that HSC has “worst work culture”, it not out unsubstantial but also irrational. We are fortunate that our association with a good majority of our employees has already crossed the milestones of 10 & 15 years. Our media tenure year per employee also stands at an impressive 6.7 years. The same extends to our clients as well. Even you would agree that an organisation which commits to “unrealistic deadlines”, “has toxic culture”, cannot be on the growth path that we have been on for the past 19 years and counting. In an industry as competitive as ours, yes, we agree that there are times when just like any other software and engineering services company, customer & at times, phase of the project do influence our working routine. That is why HSC has a policy on flexible working hours, which by definition, explains that we do not observe strict office timings. Flexi Time policy helps ensure that HSCians get break to rejuvenate themselves after extended hours. But please not, that just like employee centricity, customer centricity also acts as a cornerstone of our foundational values. There are always two sides to a story but your claims without any facts, come out as unverified, vague and misleading comments also involving “colleagues” in some of them. At HSC we walk the talk when it comes to following the open-door policy. You could have talked to your manager, engineering group head, the engineering head or for that matter even with Mr. Vinod Sood, MD, whose doors are always open for HSCians across departments & hierarchies. You could have also leveraged internal platforms like Q2M, Amber, Zero Hour etc. to share your concerns or suggestions anonymously, if you wish so. Nonetheless, we wish you the best.

Dear Anonymous, While it is unfortunate and at the same time highly unlikely that at Hughes Systique you have found “nothing” worth mentioning in the Likes section, but we would like to start by thanking you for your contributions at HSC. Coming to the dislikes section of your review, yes, we agree that there are times when just like any other software and engineering services company, customer & at times, phase of the project do influence our working routine. That is why HSC has a policy on flexible working hours, which by definition, explains that we do not observe strict office timings. Being a part of HSC, we are sure that you must have also been aware that we follow an open-door policy and employees irrespective of hierarchy or department can talk to their managers, engineering group heads, engineering head or for that matter Mr. Vinod Sood, MD. But since you had made up your mind to publish a vague, generic and misleading review on a public platform devoid of any facts, we are sharing this for the benefit of the readers of the review. Also, employees irrespective of the sectors they work in, strive to work to the best of their ability until the last day of their employment. When you say that you were given “fresh work on second last day”, it speaks volumes about your unprofessional attitude more than anything else. No matter the industry, organisation or position you work in, it is obligatory for the employees to work even during their notice periods. Nevertheless, we wish you the best for your future.

Dear HSCian, While we are glad that HSC’s cultural engagements and lunch have found a mention in the likes section of your review, we would also like to thank you for your contributions at HSC. We believe what you may have perceived as politics could actually be a case of misunderstanding and miscommunication. For there are always two sides & perspectives to any claim. As you must be knowing that HSC is the first organization in the world to be appriased with CMMi level – 5 certification for the three domains of Development, Services and People. As an extension, your claim of “less wage” even after hard work, stands invalid, and is misguiding & vague as all our working processes are defined by well prescribed guidelines, without adhering to which we could not have attained such certifications. Also, with a substantial number of our employees being associated with us for more than 10 years, it would not have been so in case was no “normalisation of salary”. We would urge you to kindly talk to your manager, engineering group head, engineering head or for that matter with Mr. Vinod Sood, MD, for we do not shy away from such conversations and walk the talk when it comes to following the open-door policy. You can also leverage internal platforms like Amber, Zero Hour, Q2M etc. to share your concerns and suggestions anonymously, if you wish so. Nevertheless, we wish many more years of your happy association with us.
