Qualitest isn't a company - it's a living, breathing hub for mediocrity and toxic marketing leadership. It's a case study in how not tun a marketing function. This is not a real marketing set up - it's a loyalty club. Under the last Chief Marketing and Sales Officer (CSMO)'s reign, the marketing function turned into a private club, where his past life associations mattered more than competence. One favourite (female) got a fast track promotion and a massive salary hike (disproportionate to her experience or impact) and the other (female) also too, while more competent, skilled and experienced team members were insulted and completely overlooked in promotions or recognitions. Now there's a new SVP - Marketing (another nepo hired by the former CSMO who he had worked in his last organization), who's following the same script. He's now packing his team with hires only from his past organizations (friends, relatives, family and even spouses of the former CSMO's favourite female). Many of them have worked with both of them (former CSMO and the new SVP). These nepo hires lack any marketing depth - creating an environment where genuine expertise is being undermined and being shown the door. His internal and past alliances are dictating all decision making. Being here for a few years now, it's disheartening to see a once-promising function reduced to a revolving door of sycophancy, favouritism and group think. Everything..! No promotions, low appraisals, They will send you to client site and there you will be treated as labour. Even if you do have a rich experience, you will be treated as client's slave. After you join client site, Qualitest will not care about you at all, They only need billing doesn't matter how their employee is being treated at client's location. They will not let you buyout notice period even is it is mentioned in your apointment letter, just because they will loss there billing from client site. Manager will give rating to the employees who are his friends, your performance will not be evaluated. They don't know what work you are doing at client and how is your performance....Read More
