There is no work life balance. No new learning. Company works with old age methods vis a vis compared to top leading companies. Being No.1 in India, we all look for beat in class work culture, policies, compensation etc, but it is not up to mark.

Sun Pharma is a great place to develop and enhance your professional skills. You have the freedom to experiment and apply your knowledge in real life situations. The learning exposure is phenomenal and you become a holistically informed professional.

Dislikes

The policies are pretty rigid in terms of work-life balance. There should be more team building and bonding activities. Presently my department is mostly work and rarely play mode.

I worked as Sr Manager for six years, my boss abused me in name of mother, I requested him do not use such abusive language, we are responsible and educated person and at that time he was angry, since after event every months he targetted me , warned to quit job, he guessed I am not quitting job, he that year rated my rank as 2, eventhough I decided to not quit job, and I informed the incidence to my super Boss, that he is going to spoil my career, but he again become more angry, he again put me rating 2, with very useless and baseless allegations, this year I again decided to not quit job, now my boss lost inside and he rated my performance 1, which is unbelievable to any working professional, but my decision to do not quit job, so he made HR department responsible and asked to quit job due to low performance otherwise we will terminate. This is my experience as company has great policy to protect people but such brilliant bosses misuse the policy with weapons of performance rating, we can not expect unbiased, authentic, performance and work oriented culture from such bosses who misuse or manipulate company policy.
