Tata Motors is overall a good company to work in but it really depends on the department you are working in. There are some departments that are providing great learning opportunities where as there are some departments that does not have that many learning opportunities. Overall job security and work life balance are great. Coming to promotion and appraisal as said early it also depends on the department you are working in. Some times people are too unorganised and unprofessional. A lot of times it happens that managers are lacking technical knowledge and are giving unrealistic deadlines for projects. There is also some office politics observed but not that much that is does not allow you to work at all. The main issue is people just constantly demand work issues and almost feels like a service based company.
