I worked at Wockhardt Hospital from September 2014 to April 2025, dedicating myself to my role with precision and commitment. Over the years, I gained valuable experience in medical calculations, laboratory procedures, and structured professional communication. However, despite my dedication, several challenges made my experience frustrating. What I liked about working at Wockhardt Hospital: - I had the opportunity to refine my technical skills and expertise in laboratory processes. - The work allowed me to build strong analytical skills and attention to detail. What I disliked about working at Wockhardt Hospital: - There was no fair system for promotions—despite company policy stating promotions should occur every three years, I never received one in my ten-year tenure. - My salary increments were minimal Rs. 100, Rs. 200, and Rs. 200 over three years. For two of those years, I was given a “needs improvement” rating, not based on my actual performance but because the company said someone had to get it. - My designation was changed unfairly. I was originally a Senior Laboratory Technician but was demoted to Lab Technician after 2.5 years. Later, in 2023-2024, my senior post was reinstated, but they framed it as a promotion when it was simply a reversal of the earlier demotion. - Salary discrepancies colleagues who initially earned Rs. 1,000 less than me eventually earned Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 5,000 more, leaving me behind financially despite my experience and tenure. - Limited opportunities for skill development, which affected long-term career growth. Work-Life Balance & Skill Development Despite my commitment to professional growth, opportunities for skill enhancement were limited, which affected career progression and overall job satisfaction</mark>. The workload often felt imbalanced, making it difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Salary & Increment Issues Over the span of three years, my salary increments were minimal Rs. 100, Rs. 200, and Rs. 200 annually. This significantly impacted my financial progression. Company Culture & Job Security There were evident inconsistencies in promotion practices and employee recognition. Merit-based growth did not seem to be a priority, leading to concerns about fairness in career advancement. Additionally, long-term job security felt uncertain due to the organization’s approach to promotions and evaluations. Designation & Promotion Concerns - I joined as a Senior Laboratory Technician in 2014. However, after 2.5 years, I was reassigned to Lab Technician while a colleague who joined two years after me was promoted to my previous post. It is just a big name. Medical services are pathetic from the administrative to nursing and even some Consultant doctors. Treating RMO doctors like labourers! PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR IT.

The work environment is very toxic. 24hrs duty in which you cannot breath one second or even have food. A hub of BAMS and BHMS doctors and if you are an MBBS doctor there is absolutely no respect for anyone... right from the admin , Consultants or the nursing staff. all are always furious about something- treating doctors as labourers and a complete imbalance of personal life</mark>. So many expectations and responsibilities but absolutely no appreciation and rewards. And the most toxic part is the duty rotas and internal politics. Stay away Dr Pooja (who is the medical admin for doctors) is very manipulative, disrespectful and never appreciates for anything good. The nursing station is a mess and there is a new drama everyday for small things. The ward RMO is responsible for any delay or errors of cleaning staff, pantry, nursing and even billing. It is not a doctor's job but that of a ward manager. Absolutely not worth it....Read More

Good doctors, surgeons, senior doctors are great to work with, you learn a lot from them. Hospital is hygenic, and upto the mark. Cleaning staff is also polite and hard working.

ADMIN DEPARTMENT IS WORST. I mean doctors are supposed to be backed by administration.. But Wockhardt Hospital is "Nursing Dominant" Place. Lots of decisions and policies are done by Nurses. No voice for junior doctors and RMOs. Nurses hired are many a times not trained well, and all of their mistakes, errors and huge amount of neglectory effects are handled internally and ignored as if nothing happened.
