No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

There is nothing to like about this organization. they have installed 87 cameras in the office. and if you move away from your seat for 15 mins, you will be questioned the next moment from HR or from the management itself.

...ny doubt, I can say that it is the worst organization I have ever worked before. Starting from the start if I talk about the salary it is the third-grade organization, being a typically middle-aged Lala driven company it has no carrier growth. He drives the company from his own mind and feels superior to the rest. He thinks as he is paying to all, so whatever he is telling should be the final decision. Your entire arguments will be thrown in the garbage box. In short, there is no hearing. They are not supportive at all, and a totally one-man show. They do not give salary slips, as they do not have any automatic system of salary slip production. If you ask for a salary slip from HR, they make it on your personal repeated requests and further sees you with doubt as you might be looking for a job change. There is no leave policy as such, plus they also have a terrible salary deduction process. Their office is located in Greater Noida which is like in the middle of the jungle. There is no public transport available nearby and swiggy does not deliver food at their location. If you come 10 mins late, they will deduct your one hour salary. and further, if you come late again then half days salary will be looted by HR team from your accounts. HR does not have any authority as they are just working as a robot to exploit their employees. Office timing is 9 to 6pm which is one hour extra as compare to standard working hours plus its a 6 days working-organization. That means Monday to Sat working culture. As far as leave policy is concerned there is no leave policy. They just provide you limited leaves. and like other Lala companies if you take additional leave, they will straight away deduct your salary. They just provide 12 annual leaves. And it is not like that you can use them together. There is a formula like you have to earn the leaves every month without any leave.
