Contractual teachers are not given appointment letter so that they can be relieved as per the convenience of higher authorities. School is well established but doesn't offer job security even to people working for longer time until they are regularised.

..., the non permanent staff has to appear for interviews at the end of every year. The appraisals, salary, contracts are affected. They can also discontinue your service even if you had been working there for more than 3 years.

The salary is average but the management is horrible they don't make anyone permenant n after one year they remove d candidate saying that their interview was not good so that they don't hv to increase d salary next year....they are business minded...N d interviers who come ask all invalid n personal question which is not required to be asked during an interview.....check d candidates knowledge don't judge them according to their personal life.... No matter how much effort you put it is of no use....You have to stand for the whole day ...u are not allowed to sit in class.....out of 8 periods a teacher is standing for almost 7 periods at a stretch....very inhuman behaviour....

Work culture is good in some of the schools but not in Durgapur DAV.

...lasses. Adhoc teachers r bullied or belittle demotivated by permanent teachers. Often they are not given pay for 2 or 3 months.
