Compensation is nice and they also have a hybrid work culture. The CHRO is good.

Dislikes

Terrible work culture. High-level politics and favouritism. Functional Heads can literally harass you, that too for things unrelated with wirk. If you complain against them to the higher authorities then you will be fired.

They can offer you a good package but it's not worth your mental health or the risk of heart attack from all the tension

Dislikes

Higher management is very poor, training was useless ,testing team is non existent, the slightest of mistakes gets blamed on developers head(when it should have been properly tested for bugs), employee retention is very poor(they would rather choose an fresher over an 2 year old employee), if you talk back you will be fired, all the good developers leave in an year or 2, no one is a friend be careful while talking to anyone, everyone who leaves is annoyed by the entire company.

DMI Finance has a wonderful culture which allows for a very pleasant working environment. The management does not believe in micromanaging which allows the employees to work freely and express ideas.

Dislikes

DMI has been quite backward with the appraisal. Employees who have been working for past 3 years are yet to receive any hike in their pay though they do pay hefty bonuses, they do hold back when it comes to appraisals.

Nothing to learn. Poor technical environment with no good practices of engineering. Micromanagement. You'll not learn any technologies there and will only waste your time by doing some useless fix and patch in there paralyzed existing system built on Salesforce as a platform. Hell they don't even use any VCS for their backend. It's really a joke in terms of tech at DMI. Work there only when you have no other option and get out even for a little lower package and better tech. Stack. In terms of HR policies they have a 3-month probation and 3-month notice period which is terrible as they deliberately try to force you to stay and are completely adamant on not reducing the notice period even if you are ready to pay out the notice. They say you can do wfh but it all depends on your manager which I was personally very unlucky with because my manager was very toxic and stupid at the same time and had 0 leadership qualities.
