Non-teaching staff are expected to perform a wide range of unrelated tasks, including menial jobs like moving files from one place to another. Additionally, there is no compensation for extra work. Employees are frequently required to work on holidays, weekends, and even during festivals—without any overtime pay or recognition. Another major issue is the toxic behavior of certain senior employees—both non-teaching staff and faculty—who have been with the university for 10 to 15 years. Many of them act with arrogance, favoritism, and hostility. They create an unhealthy work environment that makes it extremely difficult for new employees to adapt or grow. Their behavior not only undermines teamwork but also damages the university’s reputation. In short, KL University fails to respect and support its non-teaching staff, leading to a demotivating and unprofessional workplace.

Secure job, timely salary, greenary Campus

Dislikes

I worked here for 3+ years. Just got only one appraisal with salary hike less than 3K. Only CSE faculty get a proper hike. Non-teaching staff are treated like none and the management team are thinking like they are paying them salary for nothing. No proper recognition, no sick leaves, only one CL, No week off on saturday, whatnot there are plenty of cons here. You are least priority people here. Full on work pressure with tight timelines. Still the management thinks that they are paying high for them.

It is Deemed to be University under UGC act.

It is good pay master University. It is gradually increasing the quality, merit of University. Medical facility is not available. Quality of Food is not healthy and hygenic. Vijaywada is not directly connected from Mumbai, New Delhi and others Metros.

Salary never delayed, very good staff, Scope for learning, experience of KLU is valued,

...olidays, very humid environment and no fan and chair for faculties in classroom. so many documentations, 6 month notice period very horrible, Compulsory paper publication in SCOPUS otherwise stay 2 hours extra or salary deduction, 3 years probation period, So many rules and regulation, some peon type of work, mgmt is very disrespectful for faculties.
