No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?

In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

This company is best for local and regional cast employees.

If you want to work in this company so only join Sales and Finance/Account department, Because this company will give to you above your expectations and your experience, which you will not get any where in India. if you will join other departments then you will get only minimum wages as per their policy and for appraisal and promotion don't look for this if you want to earn for your family either you will be thrown out without any show cause notice. And if you are from some special cast which I will not mention here and you are close of Higher Management (factory manager and Plant head) then you will achieve everything whatever you want in this company (but only in above mentioned departments). Your well wisher....!!!

This is a company full of politics from top to bottom. If you want to come successful in your career then please don't join here. Worst company culture. Now there are some associate managers who are in hand with CEO his name is fujiwara the most worst person I ever saw. We should be like their slave orelse they will terminate us.

I am working as Sales Executive but their I did all activities either it's belong to operation, logistics,loader,peon etc. So no one focus on theirs duty. Dirty politics. One of the Worst Organisation.

In nutshell,it was pathetic experience.All the colleagues around me also left the organisation within 1 year of joining and those remained only who could not find a job.
