GF salary Vs. My salary
Me and my gf have been dating for 5 years. Back in 2020, I started my career with a package of ₹5 LPA. Over the years, I’ve reached ₹22 LPA in 2025. She started her journey with ₹3 LPA(2020) and is now earning ₹8 LPA(2025). We’ve been in a live-in relationship for around 2 years, and the idea was to share expenses equally. But, equal sharing never really happened. If we go to a café she likes, especially with friends, I will pay the entire bill. We only split the house rent and grocery bills. I told her lots of time to cut down these costly cafe expenses or earn more money, increase your package, study and work hard, but.....she is now in her comfort zone. Being from a tech background, I have seen people upgrade their skills and package for a good life in metro cities. I am ready to support her in her studies, but she is like I am earning enough for myself.... No, you are not. I love her, but I don't know how to overcome this issue between us. Please suggest!

TOXIC CULTURE : work environment is very toxic. There is constant gossip going on. u will find CEO shouting on employees every now & then. CEO always keeps on watching every employee when passing through work area to check what everyone is doing. Good employees from engineering/marketing/product are leaving very often. Only people who have joined during inception are still there. 90-95% of employees are working under pressure or bcoz of not having any other immediate options. ZERO FLEXIBILITY/LACK OF WORK LIFE BALANCE: There is zero flexibility even though they claim they are very flexible. There is big headache when you want to apply for leave as u will have to provide valid reasons for hard earned leaves as you are in school. Asking for WFH(ONCE IN A MONTH) is a big crime. If you take sick leave, manager will ask your co-employees whether u're really sick or holidaying. No trust on employees. Sick leaves are credited 0.5 per month. U can't apply for partial days for doctor's appointment, HR will ask u to schedule those on weekends only. For WFH employees, if u forget to clock in/clock out by mistake, it will not adjust & they will put half day. Also the CEO warns to hold salary/ mark employees as absent every now & then. HR team is biased & not 0.1% cooperative with employees. They are not for employees, actually they are just appointed to check punch in/punch out of employees & address it to them immediately. POOR LEADERSHIP: Some POD leads are fine but there is no growth in other POD's. Providing feedbacks to manager does not help at all. UNHEALTHY COMPETITION: The environment is highly competitive but not in a positive way. No single word of appreciation for your overtime work & timely delivery. No RESPECT for employees. CEO gives unrealistic deadlines which TL's cannot oppose & can call u sand shout anytime. Everyday you will have fear of getting fired. NO GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES: Despite promises of career development, there is very little room for advancement & skills you develop are not valued.

The only thing I liked about SocialPilot is the marketing team. Bunch of super-talented individuals who are way more worthy than this place. They actually have an almost good product.

When I first joined SocialPilot, I was excited about the opportunity to contribute to a growing company. However, It quickly became apparent that the excitement would be short-lived. The CEO, Jimit Bagadia, created an atmosphere where employees were treated more like robots than humans. His communication was nearly nonexistent, and when he did speak, it was with a "know-it-all" attitude that left no room for discussion or collaboration. One of the most jarring aspects of working under Jimit was his complete disregard for employee well-being. It felt as if he believed we owed him a debt, squeezing every ounce of productivity from us with no thought to our health or personal lives. Policies were changed on a whim, benefiting the company at the expense of the employees. You cannot take a leave even when you're super sick and can't get out of bed or maybe take the IV drip with you to the office as proof. ( they think people fake sick leaves and blame them ) The HR, Charu, is just as bad. She's so busy dancing to the CEO's whims that she forgets that the "H" in "HR" stands for "Human". She doesn't even think before making the changes in the policies if it is possible or not. Her approach was very casual and rude, making it clear that she was least interested in addressing employee concerns. The job I was hired for was nothing like the reality I faced. The expectation was immediate flawless results, with no understanding or appreciation for the process involved. The work environment felt more like a Gurukul, with Jimit being the dictator, interested only in controlling everyone and feeding his ego. Undoubtedly, many talented team members left because of his oppressive behavior. Micromanagement was the norm. He would make employees sit in his cabin in the name of productivity, assuming they were wasting time if not under his direct supervision. He even left his door open to eavesdrop on everyone's conversations, adding to the negative and weird atmosphere. Creative freedom was stifled, making it clear that our skills and ideas were not valued. None of the marketing employees want to work here but are compelled to due to their financial needs. In retrospect, it would have been more effective for Jimit to hire an agency to meet his unachievable overnight needs instead of subjecting talented employees to such miserable experiences. If you value your professional and personal well-being, I strongly advise you to avoid SocialPilot at all costs. Say no to working here- it's not worth the mental and emotional
