No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

Nothing to like. If anybody wants to start a career in sales & marketing can start with this company easily. But have to oil up 1 or 2 person until you get the job. After getting your oiling capacity must be increased day by day for all employees untill you get a further opportunity to move in.

... employees who are before Joiner than you. And even to the manager & director. No salary benefits & regularity. Conveyances may be due for a long time. After leaving this company you will be forced to clear your collection outstanding from the market even you are an employee of another Employer. Otherwise you will be marked as cheater or thief. After leaving your all payments wouldn't be clear at the company's end. In fact last salary too. No final settlement theory. During joining you will be forced to sign for a bond for atleast 2years of working condition & you can't leave before 2 years even you get a far better opportunity, otherwise you will be caught up by company's legal act & you will be served a legal notice. Without giving a notice period of couple of months during leave after 2 years of working you can't leave. Otherwise you will be punished by company's legal act. You can't expect an experience letter & a honoured farewell at all.

Dislikes

nothing to be good about company last 15 days salary and expense also taken by complaining to the Labour office in noida and then labour inspector visit , then after that I have got salaries and dues . I have proof of a letter .
