Senior IT Engineer- Networks

Perform network management, analysis, and diagnostics on WAN/LAN services, including local access, routers, switches, firewalls, etc

Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the network systems and provide training to other team members

Provide timely and accurate communication to users and management of network status

Includes notice of scheduled downtime, network "events" such as slowness, outages, etc

Maintain environment to ensure proper performance of business-critical systems including ERP, Video Conferencing, and VoIP

Manage the implementation of Network Access Control at remote locations

WIRELESS NETWORK DESIGN Maintain the centralized 802

11 Wireless systems

Design new Wireless deployments for existing facilities or new construction projects

DISASTER RECOVERY SUPPORT Ensure network system availability through accurate documentation, performing network configuration backups, and building redundancy

Develops network recovery strategies/procedures for multiple locations, systems, and technologies

Participate in the yearly DR testing process

MANAGEMENT Develop and manage to SLA s associated with WAN/LAN Maintain relationships with outside vendors to provide additional support/escalation for the WAN/LAN environment

Experience with configuring Network monitoring software
