Business Analyst (1-2 yrs)

You will be responsible for understanding, documenting, and communicating business requirements, collaborating with technical teams, and ensuring that delivered solutions meet the defined objectives.
This position requires a strong understanding of IT trends, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements Elicitation and Documentation: Conduct meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and existing processes.
- Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), process maps (e., flowcharts, swimlane diagrams), and use cases.
- Solution Design Collaboration: Work closely with the solution design team to develop Business and Functional Solution Design Documents.
- This includes contributing to the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and other visual representations of the proposed solution.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current workflows and business processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and propose optimized solutions, considering both technical feasibility and business impact.
- Assist in the implementation of these solutions.
- Feasibility Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate the viability and potential return on investment (ROI) of proposed solutions.
- This includes assessing technical feasibility, cost-benefit analysis, and risk assessment.
- Change Management: Coordinate with developers and stakeholders to track and manage change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure that changes are properly documented, assessed, and implemented.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Partner with the business team to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Develop test plans, test cases, and facilitate the testing process.
- Bug Tracking and Reporting: Systematically document and report bugs identified during testing.
- Work with developers to ensure that bugs are resolved and retested.
- Project Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to business stakeholders through timely meetings, presentations, and reports.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively.
- Communication and Collaboration: Proactively communicate roadblocks, potential risks, and escalate issues as necessary to ensure project success.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across different teams.
- Technology Awareness: Maintain a strong understanding of the latest technologies and IT trends to effectively contribute to solution design and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in the IT industry.
- Strong knowledge of the latest technologies and IT trends.
- Demonstrated experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and process mapping.
- Proficiency in creating BRDs, functional specifications, and use cases.
- Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, including proficiency in creating presentations and documentation.
- Expertise in planning and project management methodologies (e., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and bug tracking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
