Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Maintenance to lead the maintenance operations across an Steel Plant. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and implementing proactive maintenance strategies to support uninterrupted plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance operations across two or more plant units (e.g., DRI, Pellet, Beneficiation, Power Plant).
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
- Ensure reliability and performance of key equipment and utilities.
- Manage multi-disciplinary maintenance teams (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation).
- Optimize maintenance budgets and control spare parts inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with production, projects, and OEMs for smooth operations and maintenance planning.
