Job Title: Medical Representative

Reports to: Area Sales Manager/Regional Sales Manager

Job Purpose:
To promote and sell pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals including doctors, pharmacists, and hospital personnel. The Medical Representative acts as a key link between pharmaceutical companies and healthcare providers, ensuring proper use and promotion of medications.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Promotion:
- Promote assigned pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals through scheduled visits and presentations.
Sales Achievement:
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics within the assigned territory.
Territory Management:
- Plan and execute an effective territory coverage plan, including regular visits and follow-ups.
Market Intelligence:
- Gather and report on competitor activities, product feedback, and market trends.
Relationship Building:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and other key stakeholders.
Reporting:
- Submit accurate and timely reports, including daily call reports, sales reports, and expense statements.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or a related field.
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related field is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
