Financial Controller
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our company's financial operations.
You will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and compliance, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and support external audits and liaise with auditors.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance metrics.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and reports to senior management to guide strategic business decisions.
- Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff, ensuring professional development and performance management.
- Implement improvements in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate tax filings.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's /master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in financial controlling, accounting, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
