Position: Network Engineer L1 / L2

Role & responsibilities:

• Alert Monitoring, Reporting and Escalation. Candidate should possess at least 6 months to 1yr relevant experience.
• Administer all network equipment, hardware and software upgrade Serve as the technical point of contact for the customer.
• Analyze local and wide area network systems, to include testing support customers in deploying IoT and RFID devices into their network.
• Manage issues on timely basis, updating tickets for accurate record-keeping, maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
  Detecting and resolving network problems.
• Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
• Proven hands-on network engineering experience.
  Routing Protocols: Configuring and managing dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF (Open Shortest Path First), BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), and EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol).
• CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued)
  Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
• Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
• Good understanding of IPAM/Solarwinds, SNMP, NTP, DHCP, DNS.
• Upgrading hardware by the installation of updated software detecting and resolving network problems.
