About the Role

The role focuses on analyzing customer IT needs to design cost-effective, customized solutions that address business challenges. Key responsibilities include evaluating and implementing IT services, creating solution proposals and pricing, and collaborating with sales and partner teams. The role also involves building business cases, offering technical and strategic advice, mapping competitors, and supporting RFX processes. Additionally, it includes creating best practices, presenting to executives, and providing sales teams with materials to drive customer acquisition and retention.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Pre-Sales manager to support the design and delivery of IT infrastructure solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives. In this role, you will:

- Analyze and Design Solutions: Assess customer IT infrastructure and service requirements, then design cost-effective, tailored solutions across all components of IT (Technology & Services).

- Solution Architecture & Implementation: Evaluate, recommend, and architect solutions to optimize and enhance IT infrastructure services.

- Documentation & Pricing: Develop comprehensive solution documents, effort estimates, and pricing proposals to support sales efforts.

- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, delivery teams, and partner managers to deliver end-to-end solutions that address customer needs.

- Business & Technical Advisory: Identify key IT infrastructure challenges affecting business operations and propose transformational services to solve these issues. Provide sound technical and business advice to customers and internal stakeholders.

- Competitive Analysis & Sales Strategy: Research the competitive landscape and develop strategies to differentiate offerings and win deals, often in collaboration with partners.

- RFX Support: Assist the sales team with RFX (Requests for Quotes, Information, Proposals) processes, including preparing bids, proposals, and statements of work.

- Best Practices & Processes: Develop and maintain best practices and standard operating procedures for pre- and post-sales service delivery.

- Executive Presentations: Present technical solutions and strategies to executives, ensuring alignment with business goals.

- Sales Enablement: Support Business Development Managers, Account Executives, and other sales team members by providing key materials such as RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, solution outlines, and pricing to drive customer acquisition, conversion, and retention.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and services, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

Qualification :

- 4+ years of experience in a pre-sales or solution architect role within the IT services or technology industry.

- Proven track record of designing and implementing IT solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

- Experience working with sales teams to develop and present proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and bid responses.

- Exposure to customer-facing roles, with a strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
