Job Description

AXA XL is looking for talented individuals to support our business across all product lines and geographies. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, global business.

What youll be DOING

What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Collecting and compiling data into forms and spreadsheets as needed to allow for tracking and analysis of data for our Insureds, Underwriters, Risk Engineers, and Claims Teams.
  • Collect initial documents needed from various sources (Dun & Bradstreet, internal exposure database, and internet searches) and provide a summary of findings to support SDI claims/default related processes.
  • Archive and file documents that will be utilized by Risk Engineers, Underwriters, and Claims into internal file structures and third party sites.
  • Perform initial review of construction related documents (reports, schedules, payment applications, subcontracts, etc.) Compile preliminary reporting information for utilization by RE’s in project reviews and claims resolution.

You will report to Associate Consultant.

What you will BRING

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication and collaboration skills so that global communication is effective and efficient.
  • Leverage technology: Be highly proficient in the use of databases, internet searches, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, and able to quickly learn other software systems.
  • Interest in Construction Management or Construction Engineering.
  • Demonstrate an advanced ability to read, analyze, and interpret construction related documents (contract documents, legal documents etc.).

Desired Skills and Abilities:

  • Analytical Thinking and Team Collaboration: Find potential issues and creative solutions to produce faster results. Shares knowledge with others and can work with different country offices and team members.
  • Exposure to the Insurance or Loss Prevention Industry: Not a must but highly preferred.
