About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to join our team in New Delhi. This full-time, on-site role is pivotal in driving sales activities, managing a high-performing team, developing effective sales strategies, and cultivating strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and a passion for business growth in the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day sales activities, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and targets.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to foster their growth and optimize performance.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to drive business growth and expand market share.
- Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with customers, understanding their needs and offering tailored financial solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and execute plans to acquire new customers and increase revenue.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and prepare regular reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical sales practices.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Sales Management: Strong skills in sales management, with a proven ability to lead and drive sales teams.
- Team Leadership: Demonstrated experience in effective team leadership, including coaching and performance management.
- Strategic Planning: Proficiency in strategic planning and the ability to develop actionable sales strategies.
- Customer Relationship Management: Excellent skills in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and building strong client rapport.
- Business Development: Proven capabilities in business development and identifying new revenue streams.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Target Achievement: A strong and proven track record in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Financial Product Knowledge: Knowledge of financial products and services, particularly in housing finance, is a significant plus.
