Job Description:

Position: Category Manager - General Merchandising (Kitchenware/Kitchen Appliances/Home Appliances)

Location: Bangalore

Required Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA preferred

- Minimum 5 years of experience in category management, preferably in Kitchen Ware / Kitchen Appliances / Home Appliances.

Job Role:

Category Strategy & Market Planning:

- Develop and execute category growth strategies in line with business goals

- Conduct market and competitor analysis to track trends and drive innovation

Product Selection & Sourcing:

- Curate a relevant product portfolio for Kitchen Ware / Kitchen Appliances / Home Appliances in the quick commerce segment

- Negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing and optimal assortment

Pricing & Promotion Management:

- Implement pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to boost sales and margins

- Monitor the impact of offers and optimise based on performance insights

Vendor & Inventory Management:

- Build and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery and product quality

- Collaborate with operations to maintain ideal inventory levels and avoid stockouts

Cross-Functional Coordination:

- Work with marketing, logistics, and customer support teams to enhance category visibility and customer satisfaction

- Use data insights to make informed decisions on assortment and pricing
