Job Title: Sales Head
Location: New Delhi, India
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with private collectors, corporate buyers, and institutions.
- Drive high-value sales through proactive outreach, advisory services, and negotiation.
- Create bespoke sales strategies for different client segments, ensuring a personalized experience.
Art Advisory & Client Relations
- Provide expert guidance to collectors on acquiring contemporary and modern Indian art.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with HNI clients, institutions, and luxury clientele.
- Educate buyers on art investment opportunities and market trends.
Networking & Partnerships
- Develop and nurture relationships with art collectors, investors, curators, corporate clients, interior designers, and luxury brands.
- Represent at national and international art fairs, private viewings, and exclusive events.
- Collaborate with leading auction houses, museums, and art foundations for strategic partnerships.
Gallery Events & Exhibitions
- Work closely with the curatorial team to organize exclusive previews, private sales, and high-profile art events.
- Drive VIP and collector attendance at gallery exhibitions and special showcases.
- Coordinate with artists for commissioned works and exclusive collaborations.
Marketing & Brand Positioning
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the gallery's visibility through digital platforms, social media, and PR initiatives.
- Ensure a seamless synergy between sales and marketing efforts for targeted client engagement.
- Leverage digital marketing, storytelling, and content strategies to position the gallery effectively.
Team Leadership & Growth Strategy
- Setting ambitious yet achievable sales targets.
- Train and develop junior sales executives to enhance their market knowledge and sales acumen.
- Regularly assess market trends, competitor strategies, and client feedback to optimize sales approaches.
Market Research & Industry Trends
- Stay updated on Indian and global art market trends, pricing, and competitor analysis.
- Monitor fluctuations in demand and advise on pricing strategies accordingly.
- Identify emerging artists and investment-worthy art movements to drive future growth.
Key Requirements
Experience & Expertise
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or client relations within the art, luxury, or high-value collectibles sector.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a high-end luxury market.
- Experience in handling high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), corporate clients, and institutional collectors.
