We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Networking and Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network and infrastructure solutions that ensure high availability, security, and optimal performance across our environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in networking, server management, cloud infrastructure, and security, with a passion for leveraging automation and best practices to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure, deploy, and manage network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN concentrators to support enterprise network architecture.

- Continuously monitor network performance metrics, identify bottlenecks or failures, troubleshoot issues swiftly, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain SLA adherence.

- Implement and enforce network security policies using firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Access Control Lists (ACLs), and VPNs to protect organizational assets and ensure compliance with security standards.

- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers, ensuring high availability, redundancy, and performance for critical applications.

- Manage and optimize cloud environments across platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Support hybrid cloud or fully cloud-native architectures by implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

- Utilize scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks, improve configuration management, and accelerate deployment processes.

- Support and manage storage area networks (SAN), network-attached storage (NAS), and backup/recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.

- Maintain detailed network diagrams, configuration documentation, and operational procedures. Prepare regular reports on network health, incident resolution, and infrastructure performance.

- Work closely with IT, security, and business teams to align infrastructure with business goals. Participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.

- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in networking and infrastructure engineering.

- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Azure certifications.

- Experience with Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) technologies and network automation tools.

- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.

- Solid knowledge of storage technologies (SAN/NAS) and enterprise backup solutions.

- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices for IT service management.

- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills.
