Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Application Sr. Security Engineer to join our dynamic security team. As part of this team, you will help ensure the security of our applications and software systems.
Job Summary:
As an Application Security Engineer , you will work alongside senior security engineers to ensure the security and integrity of the company s applications. You will assist in identifying vulnerabilities in our code, integrating security practices into the development lifecycle, and improving the overall security posture of our applications.

Responsibilities:
Assist in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities in web, API and mobile applications.
Perform static and dynamic analysis of applications to uncover security weaknesses.
Support the integration of security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices and provide recommendations for security improvements.
Monitor and track security issues and assist in remediation efforts.
Help with penetration testing of applications to identify weaknesses.
Stay up-to-date with the latest application security trends, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
Assist in the development and maintenance of security documentation and reports.

Preferred:
Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and web application frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Spring, etc.).
Basic knowledge of security tools such as static application security testing (SAST), dynamic application security testing (DAST), or interactive application security testing (IAST) tools.
Knowledge of common security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., OWASP, ISO 27001, NIST).
Knowledge of penetration testing or vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, etc.).
Understanding of common web application vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10: SQL injection, Cross-Site Scripting, etc.).
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript) is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with development and security teams.
