Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Middleware Administrator L2 with 4-9 years of experience to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex middleware solutions. You will be responsible for deploying, administering, and supporting critical middleware components, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. This role requires excellent problem-solving abilities, proficiency in automation tools, and a willingness to work in a 24x7 shift environment.

Responsibilities :

- Middleware Administration: Deploy, administer, support, and maintain various middleware components including Nginx, WebLogic, JBOSS, Tomcat, Apache, JAVA applications, RabbitMQ, and ActiveMQ.

- System Reliability: Ensure the high availability, performance, and reliability of middleware platforms, including clustered environments.

- Patching & Upgrades: Plan, prepare, and apply security patches, other essential patches, upgrades, and updates to middleware software and related components, including JDK upgrades.

- Automation: Utilize and develop automation scripts using tools like Ansible, Jenkins, and shell/PowerShell scripting to streamline middleware operations and deployments.

- Troubleshooting & Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to middleware components. This includes analyzing thread dumps, heap dumps, and other diagnostic outputs to pinpoint problems.

- Operational Support: Provide L2 level support, managing incidents, and ensuring timely resolution of middleware-related issues in a 24x7 shift environment.

- CI/CD Integration: Work with CI/CD pipelines, leveraging automation to facilitate seamless software deployments.

- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for middleware configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

- Collaboration: Work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team, and manage multiple priority changes efficiently.

Requirements :

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA in Computer Science or a related field.

- Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex cloud solutions, with a strong focus on middleware administration.

- Middleware Technologies: Good understanding and hands-on experience with core middleware components: Nginx, WebLogic, JBOSS, Tomcat, Apache, JAVA application servers, RabbitMQ, and ActiveMQ.

- Operating Systems: Very good knowledge of all OS flavors (Linux, Windows) and strong ability to write shell / PowerShell scripts for automation.

- Automation Tools: Good working knowledge and practical experience with Ansible and Jenkins.

- Deployment Experience: Experience in deploying clustered, highly available middleware platforms.

- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to identifying and resolving complex technical issues.

- Teamwork: A good team player, willing to collaborate and support colleagues.

- Shift Work: Ready to work in a 24x7 shift rotation.

- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priority changes and adapt to dynamic operational demands.

- Advanced Troubleshooting: Strong skills in analyzing thread dumps, heap dumps, and other advanced diagnostics for Java applications and middleware.

- Best Practices & Compliance: Strong knowledge of middleware technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance.

- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Certifications: Certifications in middleware technologies (e.g., Oracle WebLogic, Red Hat JBoss) are a significant plus.

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex system data and logs
