Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with 6+ years of experience, specializing in test automation, integration, and performance testing. You will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web, API, mobile, and backend components. This role requires a strong technical background, proficiency with automation frameworks and tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively in an agile environment.

Responsibilities :

- Test Automation Framework Development : Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for various application layers including web, API, mobile, and backend components.

- Integration Testing : Perform comprehensive integration testing of distributed systems, services, and APIs to ensure seamless functionality and data flow.

- Performance & Load Testing : Conduct performance and load testing using tools like JMeter and similar, meticulously analyzing results to identify bottlenecks and scalability issues.

- Automated Test Execution : Leverage open-source tools such as Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit for efficient and effective automated test execution across various platforms.

- Script Creation & Maintenance : Create and maintain a comprehensive suite of scripts for automated regression, functional, smoke, and sanity tests.

- CI/CD Integration : Implement and maintain test suites within CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins / GitLab CI, ensuring continuous quality gates.

- Early Testing Collaboration : Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and other QA teams to integrate testing activities early in the software development life cycle.

- Documentation & Reporting : Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports, effectively documenting issues, risks, and test coverage.

- Root Cause Analysis : Participate actively in root cause analysis for performance degradation or test failures, providing insightful data and contributing to resolutions.

Requirements :

- Experience : 6+ years of experience in software testing with a strong, demonstrable focus on test automation, integration testing, and performance testing.

- Container Orchestration : Experience with container orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- REST API Testing : Proven experience with REST API testing and proficiency with tools like RestAssured, Postman, Swagger, or similar.

- Automation Tools : Hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, and/or JUnit.

- Performance Testing Tools : Experience using JMeter or other performance/load testing tools.

- CI/CD Tools : Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins / GitLab CI.

- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, analyze, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical details and collaborate effectively across teams.

- Test Methodologies : Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, best practices, and the full software development lifecycle.
