Job Description

We are seeking a skilled QA Manual and automation Tester with over 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans
Design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts based on functional specifications
Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
Identify, document, and track defects
Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and improve product quality
Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to provide testing updates and insights
Review and analyze system specifications to ensure the application meets quality standards
Provide feedback on usability and user experience based on testing results
Assist in the development of testing strategies and best practices to enhance testing processes
Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on testing methodologies

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
4+ years of experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and documentation
Manual testing fundamentals and strong test case design skills
Experience in automation testing (using tools like Selenium), if required
Knowledge of API testing
Understanding of bug reporting and tracking processes
Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, etc.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Knowledge of SQL and basic database concepts (a plus)
