Essential Qualification: Graduate in Engineering /Planning/ Architecture with MBA or Masters Degree in Planning / Engineering

Experience: Around 10 years of experience in Consulting Industry.

Profile:

• To lead in identifying new business opportunities related to Consulting /Engineering projects in urban/ rural infrastructure sector, roads & highways, urban/regional/rural development/ planning, area development, transport planning, tourism, environment & climate change, buildings, etc. to source and secure business in India and outside India.
• Developing market penetration strategies with respect to sectors, services & geographies.
• Develop marketing material and promote the company with Government/ Semi-government/ PSU/ Private clients.
• Identify potential partners/agents for long term growth through JVs /Consortiums/Acquisitions
• Formulation as well as review of bidding documents, assess project requirements, finalize teaming arrangements, conduct market intelligence, review of contract documents, prepare pre-bid queries, attend pre-bid meetings, finalization of proposals, make the presentations related to business development as and when required. Arrange proposal meetings, prepare detailed program of inputs and deadlines.
• Maintain good working relationship with the other companies present in the sector.
• Maintain database of key experts and companies; identification and sourcing of experts; follow up with external consultants and obtain detailed information and negotiate for professional fees.
• Maintain centralized database on business development efforts covering proposals evaluated, go no-go analysis, competition benchmarking, win/lose analysis, market trends, etc.
• To prepare and present weekly Business Development Reports to the senior management team.

Essential Skills:

• Should have sound understanding of the infrastructure sector and its development in the country and understanding of the competition.
• Sound knowledge of working on EoIs/proposals of bilateral and multilateral funding agencies like ADB, World Bank, etc.
• Should have the tenacity as well as maturity to interact with stakeholders at different levels particularly the bureaucracy and its systems.
• Should possess good analytical as well as presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
