Senior Research Associate

As a research analyst, your primary work will involve tracking, analyzing, and interpreting different data points of private and public companies to create insightful reports like industry/sector summary, company/investor summary, competition benchmarking etc.

Key responsibilities include:

- Information tracking: Track various internal & external public research sources such as government & regulatory documents to create value added research pertaining to private and public companies - financials, key professionals and other critical business information.

- Sector/Industry analysis: Research and analyze the performance of different sectors to identify investment and exit trends, top players etc.

- Investor analysis: Research and analyze the performance of different type of investors in terms of investment made, sectors of interest, realized exits and related financial metrics etc.

- Reporting and presentation: Prepare comprehensive, insightful reports on the industry/sector, company/fund profiles, cross industry custom ad-hoc requests in a rapid research environment

Functional Competencies:

- Strong research and analytical skills with good understanding of financial concepts.

- Must be able to read and understand information from different sources. Well versed in Internet searching and MS Office

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Should be able to work independently with very little supervision
