Vmware/Senior System Administrator

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of VMware technologies & products, scripting, automation. (Vmware 6. x, powercli, powershell)
• Deep technical understanding of IaaS, PaaS, software defined networking and Virtualisation
• Existing proven technical skills covering Vcenter, Vrops and VRa/Vro skills highly desirable
• Experience working in relevant environment/s, i. e. It infrastructure support
• Experience working in relevant market/context, i. e. Cloud Services and Virtualisation
• Past working experience in a relevant role, i. e. Worked in a similar role before in a global organisation
• Past working experience on relevant systems, i. e. Virtualisation technologies, automation, Storage, networks
• Experience of using relevant software packages, i. e. Global service desk
• Availability to work the shift pattern required for this role, i. e. Availability to be on a call out Rota is needed for this role
• Availability to undertake the travel required for this role, i. e. Ad Hoc as needed globally
• Willingness to undertake the training/study required in this role, i. e. Willingness to undertake training and study as needed for new products and services
• Experience working in relevant environment/s, i. e. Virtualisation and cloud in a similar function is desirable but not essential
• Experience working in relevant market/context, i. e. Global Support / Virtualisation and cloud is desirable but not essential
• Past working experience in a relevant role, i. e. Global Support is desirable but not essential
• Previous experience of delivering an excellent customer service
