Our client is a 10 years old firm into Banquet and Catering Services. They have a 2000 sq.ft. property (Banquet) at Bandra to host events or parties for Corporates/HNI Clients. They also cater to HNI Clients in case they would like to have party at their residence. They have an entire team of Executive Chefs and assistants to organize and execute parties.
Position: Sales Manager
Experience: 12- 16 years in similar role
Qualification: Any Graduate/Any Post Graduate
Job Role:
1. Business Development/Sales:
- Develop and execute sales strategies for Banquets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnership to drive revenue growth. Drive corporate and social event bookings.
- Target HNI (high Networth Individuals) clients
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed targets.
- Provide compelling communication to potential guests about the brand, facility and menu
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, HNI Clients.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
3. Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competition, and analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Monitor performance metrics and optimize pricing and packages based on demand
4. Sales Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
- Provide training and guidance to enhance team performance.
5. Proposal Development:
- Prepare and present compelling proposals to potential clients both Corporate & HNI clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable deals.
6. Events and Networking:
- Collaborate with the events, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution and guest satisfaction.
- Network with key stakeholders and participate in promotional activities.
Desired Profile:
- Proven experience in hospitality sales and Banquet Sales.
- Experience in working with HNI and Corporate Clients.
- Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and a team player
