Company Overview:
We are a reputable construction company specializing in EPC projects with a strong presence in the industry. As part of our continuous growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in recruitment and a comprehensive understanding of various HR activities.
Role Overview:
As HR Manager (Individual Contributor role), you will play a crucial role in managing the recruitment process for our organization, ensuring the acquisition of talent to support our EPC projects. In addition to recruitment, you will also be responsible for various other HR activities, such as employee onboarding and employee relations. Your expertise in the field of human resources will enable you to understand the unique challenges and requirements of our workforce while ensuring compliance with labor laws and industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
- Develop and execute strategies/plans to attract and hire qualified candidates for various positions within the construction industry.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and create accurate job descriptions.
- Stakeholder management with demonstrated capability in niche hiring.
- Utilize various recruitment channels, such as online job portals, to source potential candidates.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and organizational
fit.
- Extend job offers, negotiate terms, and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
- Coordinate with a team of professionals spread across the length and breadth of the country.
- Willing to travel if required.
Employee On-boarding and Orientation:
- Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with company policies, procedures and work expectations.
Policy Implementation and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry-specific requirements.
- Communicate policies and procedures to employees, ensuring understanding and adherence.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a resource for employees regarding HR-related matters, providing guidance and assistance when needed.
- Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and foster positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns and maintaining a supportive work environment.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Good understanding of recruitment processes with a track record of successfully attracting and selecting talent.
- Knowledge of HR practices, Payroll , Statutory, Labor laws and regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Work Schedule: 5.5 days in a week
