Job Description:
Key Responsibilities :
1.Lead the general trade sales teams in translating strategy into sales business plans and go-to-market strategy within budgeted costs.
2.Prepare and maintain annual sales & distribution plans to deliver budgeted revenue, Profit and Brand equity targets for the year based on category and channel.
3.Handling Upper North India Sales, Marketing & Distribution for, GT Channel.
4.Enhance market penetration by setting up and managing the General trade distribution.
5.Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share goals within the general trade segment.
6.Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, including State Head and ASM, Sales Executives, to meet and exceed sales targets.
7.Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities, channels, and potential partners within the general trade sector to increase brand presence and sales.
8.Distributor and Retailer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with our brand values and objectives.
9.Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop annual sales forecasts and budgets, track performance against targets, and implement corrective actions as needed.
10 Sales Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge, selling skills, and customer service.
11 Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to make informed decisions and adjustments to the sales strategy.
12 Sales Reporting: Generate regular reports and analyses to measure sales performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications :
1. Post Grad in Marketing from IIM's/XL/FMS/SPJIMR/MDI/SIBM etc.
2. A minimum of 4 years of progressive sales experience in the FMCG industry, with a focus on the general trade segment.
3.Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets.
4. Strong knowledge of the general trade distribution channels, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
5. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
6. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
7 Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for the Beverage industry.
