Senior Software Development Testing Engineer

- Review design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the software product.

- Identify appropriate parameters, functions, and data to test and validate; parameters may include general function, the validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

- Conduct testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines.

- Identify, log, and create error codes, bugs, and defects.

- Report defects to programmers while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates when a product does not perform within specifications.

- Collaborate closely with other team members and departments to execute testing at all levels of development

- The system, Integration, and Regression, Design and Develop automation scripts

- Provide timely solutions

- Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle

- Provide support and documentation

- 6 years of experience as a software tester or similar role

- Plan the sprint alongside other department heads to achieve long-term goals

- Provide daily/weekly/monthly assignments to the team by the sprint planning

- Take scrum meetings to set deadlines, find deviations provide training necessary guidance to the team members to manage the gaps.

- Set up QA retrospective meetings for closure reports strategy corrections

- Query resolutions daily job monitoring

- API Automation using RestAssured/Karate/Postman, UI Automation using Selenium Webdriver

- Experience in API testing, UI testing, Functional testing Mobile testing

- Programming experience with Python, Java, C# or any other contemporary programming language.

- Good written and verbal communication skills specifically ability to write excellent bug reports must have excellent attention to detail.

- Good knowledge of creating test plans writing test cases based on end-to-end requirements.

- Project management/Defect Tracking tools - E.g. Jira, Bugzilla, BugHerd

- Triaging bugs using logs, some level of debugging skills, and priority assignments for bugs based on the understanding of feature criticality/ risk.

- Hands-on Database queries Any RDBMS like MySQL, Postgres
