Job Title: Senior Marketing Manager - New Initiative Lead
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly driven and strategic Senior Marketing Manager to lead the marketing charter for a new high-priority initiative at NxtWave. You will be responsible for building this initiative's brand from the ground up, creating end-to-end marketing strategies, and driving performance across digital and offline channels. This role demands creative leadership, sharp execution, and data-led decision-making, with a strong understanding of consumer behavior in the edtech space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and lead the marketing strategy for the new initiative-from 0 to 1 and beyond.
- Develop integrated campaigns to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
- Craft the initiative's brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market narratives.
- Lead performance marketing across platforms (Google, Meta, YouTube), SEO/SEM, influencer marketing, and email campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with the Product, Sales, Content, and Design teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness of campaigns.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaigns based on key KPIs (CPL, CAC, ROAS, CTR, etc.).
- Generate customer insights through market research, user interviews, and competitor benchmarking.
- Explore new channels, partnerships, and growth hacks to maximize reach.
- Manage marketing budgets and drive strong ROI.
- Build and mentor a lean, high-performing marketing team as the initiative scales.
Requirements:
- 8-12 years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a strategic leadership role.
- Proven experience in launching and scaling new products or initiatives.
- Strong understanding of B2C marketing funnels, brand-building, and digital marketing metrics.
- Experience in fast-paced startup environments, ideally in edtech or consumer tech.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
Skills Must-Have:
- Hands-on experience with digital platforms (Google Ads, Meta, YouTube).
- Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, HubSpot, etc.).
- Strong creative judgment combined with a data-driven mindset.
- Proven ability to independently lead campaigns and manage cross-functional stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of funnel optimization, A/B testing, and performance playbooks.
Good-to-Have:
- Experience in vernacular or regional marketing strategies.
- Prior work on influencer marketing or affiliate-led growth.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools (WebEngage, MoEngage, CleverTap).
- Comfort with rapid experimentation in early-stage setups.
