- Looking after the ODM OEM Production units making strategies for the operation of third party manufacturing.
- Involvement in the new product development and ensuring the manufacturing facilities for the same.
- Looking after the New factory projects related to line, equipment or facility set up.
- Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
- Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on business.
- Taking care of Plant Maintenance ensure machine availability, managing dysfunctional machinery with the Shift management
- Optimise equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertaken
- Ensure that designated buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required.
- Manage the process of disposal of obsolete machinery, plant and equipment from gaining agreement to write off to physically removing it and its safe and lawful disposal
- Plant compliances for all domains of Human Resource relating to industrial relations, labour laws outsourcing for smooth functioning of the company
- Coordinating the hiring of all manufacturing personnel, performance appraisal, coaching guidance.
- Production shift planning and plant manpower planning for annual budget submission
- Training given to manpower to improve efficiency for making good working culture.
- Manpower allocation as per work load work competency.
- Operating with in heads and maintains the expenses under control.
- Daily MIS reporting and Monthly productivity report to Plant head.
- Production readiness assessments , Pilot production stages, production team lead for engineering projects; incorporate newest technologies and resolves process problems.
- Plan and establish sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble parts or products and to promote efficient utilization of resources
- Identifying process and production bottlenecks and implementing solutions to resolve it.
- Manufacturing capacity planning and enhancement, establishing new assembly and product line.
- Finalizing machines, tools equipment s for new product and processes. Doing ROI calculation and capex approvals required for Capacity Enhancement
- Manufacturing benchmarking and new project study .
- Draft and design layout of equipment or machine, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency.
- Drives continuous improvement in process design, cost savings, quality, and resource utilization.
- Coordinating with certification bodies for assessments and certification audits.
- Improvise Manufacturing Process by evaluating competencies
- Implementing lean manufacturing by learning Midea Business System
- Resource Planning Workload management
- Capex budgeting and control.
- Lead the Green Field Project.
