Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Program Manager to join our Strategic Initiatives team at OYO. This role is pivotal in driving cross-functional programs that support fund raising initiatives, select M&A, including IPO preparedness, public policy, enhance OYO's reputation, manage stakeholder communications. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals and effective execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Program Management: Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives related to fundraising, investor relations, public affairs, and IPO readiness, ensuring timely and effective execution.
2. IPO Preparedness: Collaborate with legal, finance, and external advisors to ensure all communication aspects of IPO readiness are addressed, including drafting of prospectuses, investor presentations, and regulatory disclosures.
3. Stakeholder Communication: Establish structures, processes, and governance frameworks to enable teams of experts to effectively manage communication strategies for shareholders, investors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring transparency and alignment with corporate objectives while tracking progress and outcomes.
4. Reputation Management: Set up systems and disciplines to guide teams in monitoring and managing OYO's brand reputation across channels, driving accountability, measuring impact, and ensuring proactive measures are effectively implemented to enhance public perception.
5. Leadership Collaboration: Work closely with Nitin Thakur and other senior leaders to align communication programs with strategic business objectives, leveraging their expertise in corporate communications and strategic alliances.
Qualifications:
1. Educational Background: Require professionals with strong financial acumen to lead fundraising, investor relations, and occasional M&A, while also setting up structures, processes, and effectiveness metrics for public policy and communication functions.
2. Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in program management, corporate communications, or investor relations, preferably within the hospitality or technology sectors.
Skills:
1. Strong project management and organizational skills.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
3. Proficiency in stakeholder engagement and crisis communication.
4. Ability to analyze public policies and their impact on business operations.
5. Experience with IPO processes and regulatory requirements is a plus.
