About Role
We are seeking a driven and analytical Business Finance Manager to play a critical role in optimizing our financial performance. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be instrumental in implementing robust cost control measures, collaborating closely with various departments, and providing actionable financial insights to drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Cost Control & Optimization :
- Develop and implement effective strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvements across all business operations (e.g., procurement, manufacturing, marketing, logistics).
- Monitor and analyze spending patterns, identify areas of overspend, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with department heads to establish budget targets and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
- Conduct regular cost-benefit analyses for new projects, initiatives, and investments.
2. Business Partnering & Collaboration:
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to various business units (e.g., Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, Product Development).
- Work closely with teams to understand their financial needs, provide guidance on financial implications of business decisions, and support their strategic objectives.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication to align financial goals with operational activities.
3. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Prepare detailed financial models, projections, and variance analyses.
- Generate insightful financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Contribute to long-term financial planning and strategic initiatives.
4. Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
- Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations.
What You Bring:
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance from a reputed institute/ CA
- 4-5 years of progressive experience in a Business Finance or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) role.
- Proven track record in cost control, budget management, and financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and business operations.
- Experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector is highly desirable.
