Role Overview :

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a RVT Lead/Architect to join our team in Bangalore. This is a pivotal role for an experienced networking professional who possesses deep expertise in L2/L3 protocols, coupled with strong Python automation skills. As an RVT Lead/Architect, you will be instrumental in designing, architecting, and validating complex network solutions, driving automation initiatives, and providing technical leadership within our Networking/Telecom/Datacom projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Network Architecture & Design : Lead the design and architecture of robust, scalable, and high-performance network solutions, leveraging advanced L2/L3 protocols for various client engagements.

- Protocol Expertise : Apply deep expertise in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS) to develop, implement, and troubleshoot complex network configurations.

- Python Automation : Drive the development and implementation of Python-based automation scripts for network configuration, testing, validation, monitoring, and data analysis to enhance efficiency and reliability.

- Technical Leadership & Mentorship : Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

- Verification & Validation : Oversee comprehensive verification and validation strategies for network designs and implementations, ensuring adherence to specifications and performance metrics.

- Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis : Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, performing in-depth root cause analysis for protocol-related problems.

- Solution Development : Translate complex customer requirements into technical specifications and viable network solutions.

- Collaboration : Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project delivery.

- Industry Trends : Stay abreast of the latest advancements in networking technologies, protocols, and automation tools to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Mandatory Skills :

L2/L3 Protocol Expertise :

- Deep and hands-on expertise in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).

- Extensive experience with Open Shortest Path First (OSPF).

- Proficient in Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP).

- Strong working knowledge and implementation experience with Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS).

- Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP stack, routing and switching fundamentals, and network architectures.

Python Automation :

- Strong proficiency in Python for network automation, including experience with relevant libraries (e.g., Netmiko, Paramiko, NAPALM, Scrappy) or developing custom scripts for device interaction, configuration management, and automated testing.

Domain Background :

- Solid professional background (demonstrated through project experience) in the Networking, Telecommunications, or Datacom industries.

- Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills for complex network environments.

- Communication : Strong communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills to interact effectively with internal teams and clients.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Lead or Architect in networking roles.

- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
