- Preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes, from simple meals to gourmet cuisine.

- Maintaining kitchen equipment, including cleaning, maintaining and repairing kitchen appliances, and ensuring that all tools are in good working order.
- Ensuring that all food preparation and cooking procedures are in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Creating and managing inventory of ingredients, ordering supplies as needed, and controlling food costs.
- Collaborating with other chefs and kitchen staff to develop new recipes and cooking techniques.
- Overseeing the plating and presentation of dishes to ensure that they meet the highest standards of appearance and taste.
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and work area.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
