Role & responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aluminium Stamping Tooling Expert to lead the design, development, optimization, and maintenance of aluminium stamping tools used in high-precision manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in aluminium material behavior, progressive die design, tooling fabrication, and troubleshooting within high-volume production settings such as automotive, aerospace, or consumer electronics industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tool Design & Development:
• Design and develop progressive and transfer dies for aluminium stamping operations.
• Apply advanced knowledge of aluminium forming characteristics to tool and die design.
• Collaborate with CAD designers and simulation teams to validate die concepts.
• Tooling Process Optimization:
• Optimize existing tooling for productivity, quality, material utilization, and die life.
• Implement improvements based on feedback from production and quality teams.
• Reduce tool wear and downtime through data-driven analysis.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
• Provide hands-on support for tool tryouts, debugging, and issue resolution.
• Investigate root causes of tool failures, part defects, and quality issues.
• Interface with production teams to ensure successful tool launches and maintenance.
• Vendor & Supplier Coordination:
• Work with external toolmakers, machine shops, and material suppliers.
• Review and approve tooling designs and builds from vendors.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Prepare detailed tooling documentation, including tool design specifications and maintenance plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.
