Utility Engineer

• Operate, monitor, and maintain ammonia compressors, CO₂ refrigeration plants, and water/glycol chiller systems.
  
• Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on refrigeration-related equipment including compressors, condensers, chillers, evaporators, pumps, and cooling towers.
  
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards for ammonia and CO₂ systems, including leak detection, emergency shutdowns, and PPE usage.
  
• Maintain and update maintenance records, daily logbooks, P&IDs, and CMMS systems.
  
• Monitor system efficiency, refrigerant levels, and operational parameters to reduce energy consumption and improve reliability.
  
• Participate in overhaul projects, annual shutdowns, and commissioning of new installations.
  
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and safety departments to align maintenance strategies with operational goals.
  
• Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to junior maintenance staff.
