Summary of work Environment and Work performed:
To spearhead the Service sales with TMEIC customers in Gujarat Region Long Term Contracts, Spares business, revamps/ replacement business, Overhauling & maintenance contracts, new Services etc. for and MV Rotating Machines (Induction and Synchronous Motors) and power electronics-Drives, UPS & PV Inverters.
The overall function shall be focused on meeting business growth for TMEIC in service Sales for all TMEIC products.
Specific Duties:
- Study RFQs, prepare technical and commercial quotations, submission to customer, winning sales, risk and opportunity assessment, etc.
- Analysis of market for available service offering offered by other players in market.
- Preparation & submission of proposals, defining the deliverables, commercial and legal T&C in coordination with respective departments & Application Team.
- Upgradation jobs study, identification, RFQ generation
- Participate in Pre-bid technical and commercial discussions, as per job requirements.
- Frequent domestic travel for sales activity and Business Growth, regular connect with customer.
- Coordination and submission for Sales order handover for further executions.
- Be aligned with the front-end BU Sales Team & Post Sales Service (PSS) team to ensure correct service package offering & adopt pricing strategy to ensure high profit margin.
Desired Outcome:
- Defining and meeting the regional Service Sales Target
- Develop & maintain the company products install base, user base and identify the prospective
customers, work closely with team to convert the opportunity in service sales.
- Design/define new service offerings based on market and customer analysis, align with TMEIC product portfolio.
- Analysis of market for available service offering offered by other players in market.
- Participate in proposal approval, tender submissions,
- Overall responsibility for growth in Services Business for Soth Region
- Handle entire range of TMEIC RM/PE Products service sales involving Induction, Synchronous,
safe, hazardous motors, generators, Drives, etc.
- Active participation on enhancement of sales target
- Identifying the Terms and conditions for long term contractual opportunities
Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:
- Education:- B. Tech / B.E. Electrical/ EEE/ Electronics
Essential:
- Sales Experience in Electrical Equipment and/or After market sales in Industry segment.
Desired:
- Relevant Work experience in Power electronics Drives, Rotating Machines, Electrical & Industrial
Automation fields:
- Analytical knowledge in service business along with commercial terms.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of MV Drive systems or Motor as product, application and sales would be an added advantage.
Skills and abilities:
- Excellent Customer Relationship & Cross-functional coordination skills, Client acquisition and retention
- Risk and opportunity Analysis, Working in line with Organization Goal
- Expertise on commercial terms and essence of proposal T&C
- Technical Product knowledge
- Excellent Written and verbal communication
- Strong Interpersonal skills, Self-motivated and innovative, Time management
- Closing sales,
Experience:
- 5 to 8 years of Experience in Sales/After Market Sales for MV/HV motors/ Generators, MV/LV Drives for Industrial applications
- Good understanding of traditional service business like long terms Contracts, warranty extension, Spare parts sale, maintenance contract, new age Services, etc.
- Overall similar industry experience 5-8 years
