Trempplin Academy - Oracle Flexcube Techno-Functional Consultant (5-10 yrs)

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Flexcube Techno-Functional Consultant with strong hands-on experience in PL/SQL, Java, and various Flexcube modules, including Core, CASA, GL, Trade, and Payments.

The ideal candidate should possess both technical and functional expertise, capable of working on Flexcube implementations, upgrades, support, and customization projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide end-to-end techno-functional support for Oracle Flexcube modules across Retail and Corporate Banking.

Configure, customize, and extend core modules such as Core Banking (CASA/GL) and at least two others such as :

- IC/OBIC

- CL/OBCL

- FT/OBPM

- LC, BC, FX, MM

- EOD and Gateway modules

- Design and develop customizations using PL/SQL, Java, and RAD tool.

- Integrate Flexcube with external systems using Flexcube Webservices.

- Perform analysis and debugging using ODT/OBMA tools and troubleshoot issues related to module flows and backend processes.

- Deep understanding of Flexcube tables, data flow, and module architecture.

- Identify root causes of issues through log analysis, system trace, and database query methods.

- Work on Flexcube patch set upgrade processes, regression testing, and validations.

- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams by understanding business requirements and converting them into technical solutions.

- Provide functional insights into modules like Core, Trade, Payments, ensuring all customizations comply with banking best practices.

- Prepare technical design documents, solution walkthroughs, and user training material.

- Follow established SDLC processes, using tools for version control and change management (e. , Git, SVN, JIRA).

- Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams during development and production support.

- Provide post-go-live support, incident resolution, and user guidance on system behavior.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

- 5 -10 years of experience in Oracle Flexcube, with techno-functional exposure

Flexcube Webservices :

- Hands-on experience in core modules : CASA, GL, plus at least two additional modules such as FT, CL, FX, LC, OBCL, OBPM, EOD.

- Understanding of Flexcube debugging using ODT/OBMA tools.

- Familiarity with banking domain processes (Retail/Corporate Banking).

- Strong understanding of Flexcube database architecture, tables, and process flows.

- Well-versed in patch upgrades, SDLC, change management, and version control
